Community Impact Grant Request

Konza United Way is pleased to announce it will be accepting grant applications from 501 (c) 3 non profit organizations for 2025 Community Impact Grants on May 1, 2024 in the following areas:

Healthy Community

  • Nutrition & Food Security
  • Mental & Physical Health

Youth Opportunity (formerly known as "Education")

  • Childcare & early childhood development
  • In-school, after-school & summer learning
  • Literacy development

Community Resiliency

  • Crisis hotline & support
  • Transportation

Financial Security

  • Job training  & workforce development
  • Financial education & coaching
  • Homelessness prevention & affordable housing

If you have applied for our grants in the past, you might recognize that the names of our impact areas have changed.  However, our mission has not.  Konza United Way provides grants to health and human service programs through a framework based on the social determinants of a strong and healthy community.  You can find more information on Konza United Way goals located at www.konzaunitedway.org.

All programs seeking funding must demonstrate the ability to achieve measurable, local results. See the "Statement of Agreement" in the following Details/Requirements section which sets out the expectations of a grant recipient.  

Community Impact grants will be awarded to qualifying organizations with demonstrated local results in one or more of Konza United Way's focus areas.  These grants will cover a one -year time period beginning January 1, 2025 and ending December 31, 2025.

The 2025 Funding Year application period opens on 05/01/2024.
